Delivery method
In order to ensure that your delivery arrives as planned, please consider the following:
- Is it possible for a 13.6m lorry to reach the desired address, or will you need a smaller delivery vehicle?
- Do you have a delivery bay where the lorry can be off-loaded?
- How will you off-load the lorry? Do you have a forklift on site, or will you require a lorry with tail-lift or a HIAB crane?
As standard VELFAC windows and doors leave the factory on 13.6m, curtain-sided articulated lorries, which typically accommodate 180m2 of windows or other elements (depending on the size and nature of the units loaded).
6.8m lorries can be arranged at extra cost if site access or delivery size dictates.
Loading is restricted to a maximum pallet width of 2.3m if a tail lift is required.
