BREEAM Rated Excellent
VELFAC windows have been installed at the DEFRA-owned Dragonfly House in Norwich, rated as Excellent by BREEAM for its demonstration of the highest environmental construction standards. Designed by Aukett Fitzroy Robinson, the office building - new home to the Broads Authority, Environmental Agency, and Natural England - uses large areas of VELFAC glazing both to enhance the contemporary external design, and to maximise natural light in the interior. VELFAC windows are also used to create a dramatic main entrance, formed from a window wall and glazed screen rising the full height of the four storey building.
